This Privacy Policy explains how Linp SAS (hereinafter "Joynit") collects and uses the personal data of users (hereinafter the "User", the "Users") who access and use the website https://www.joynit.fr/ (hereinafter the "Website") and/or the Joynit SaaS platform (hereinafter the "Platform").

1. Data Collected

a. Personal Data

a.1 Directly

Joynit collects personal data when a User registers on the Platform. The data collected is as follows:

Data required to create an account:

  • first and last name;
  • email address;
  • password.

Optional data, collected only upon explicit request and with the User's consent:

  • phone number;
  • geolocation data;
  • access to the User's native smartphone calendar, as part of the calendar synchronization feature.

Failure to provide optional data does not affect access to the Platform's core features.

a.2 Indirectly

Joynit indirectly collects data when the User uses the Website and/or the Platform:

  • events created by Users and the information they contain;
  • photos and documents uploaded to the Platform, stored on Joynit's servers.

b. Cookies

Joynit uses cookies to collect and store data relating to the use of the Website and/or the Platform. Cookies are small text files sent to the device used to access the Website and the Platform.

Joynit uses the following types of cookies:

  • Strictly necessary cookies: enable the operation of the Website and/or the Platform (account access, navigation, sessions).
  • Functional cookies: allow the User's choices and settings to be remembered.
  • Analytics cookies: Google Analytics, used to measure audience and analyze Platform usage.
  • Advertising cookies: Google Ads Tracking, used to measure conversions from advertising campaigns directing traffic to Joynit.

Cookie consent is managed by the CookieScript tool. Users can manage and update their cookie preferences at any time via the cookie management banner accessible on the Website and the Platform. Refusing analytics and advertising cookies does not affect access to the Platform's features.

2. Legal Basis for Processing

Joynit bases its processing of personal data on the following legal grounds, in accordance with the GDPR:

  • Performance of a contract: processing necessary to provide the Services (account creation and management, operation of the Shared Agenda, sending transactional emails).
  • Legitimate interest: audience measurement and Platform improvement via Google Analytics, customer support management via Crisp.
  • Consent: Google Ads Tracking advertising cookies, commercial and marketing communications.
  • Legal obligation: retention of certain data for accounting and tax purposes.

3. Purposes of Data Use

Joynit uses Users' personal data to:

  • ensure the operation of the Website and/or the Platform;
  • enable the creation and management of Shared Agendas and associated events;
  • configure the Platform according to the User's preferences;
  • respond to User requests and provide customer support;
  • notify Users of any changes and/or updates to the Website and/or the Platform;
  • conduct surveys and audience measurements to improve the Platform;
  • provide technical assistance or support requested by the User;
  • produce usage statistics;
  • measure conversions from advertising campaigns directing traffic to Joynit;
  • send commercial communications related to Joynit's services, subject to the User's prior consent.

4. Sub-processors

In the context of providing its Services, Joynit uses the following sub-processors, to whom personal data may be transferred:

Google Cloud — Platform and data hosting — EU / USA

Stripe — Payment and subscription management — USA

Mailgun — Transactional and invitation emails — USA

Airtable — Internal customer data management — USA

Calendly — Appointment scheduling (demos) — USA

Crisp — Customer support via chat — EU

Google Analytics — Audience measurement and statistics — USA

CookieScript — Cookie consent management — EU

For sub-processors located in the United States, data transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards in accordance with the GDPR, in particular the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Joynit ensures that its sub-processors provide sufficient guarantees regarding the protection of personal data.

5. Data Retention

Personal data is retained according to the following rules:

User account: account data is retained for the entire duration of the account's activity. Upon account closure by the User, all personal data associated with the account is deleted. Events created by the User within a Shared Agenda remain accessible in that Shared Agenda after account deletion, dissociated from the User's profile.

Shared Agenda: deletion of a Shared Agenda results in the deletion of all events it contains. Deletion of a Shared Agenda does not delete the user accounts of the members associated with it, as each user account is independent of the Shared Agenda.

Billing data: personal data related to billing is retained for the legally applicable period for accounting and tax purposes (10 years).

Cookies: data collected via cookies is retained for a maximum period of thirteen (13) months, in accordance with the recommendations of the French data protection authority (CNIL).

6. User Rights

In accordance with the GDPR and applicable data protection law, Users have the following rights regarding their personal data:

  • right of access;
  • right of rectification;
  • right to erasure (right to be forgotten);
  • right to data portability;
  • right to restriction of processing;
  • right to object;
  • right to define instructions regarding the processing of their data after their death.

Users have access to the technical tools necessary to modify, update or delete their information directly from their account on the Platform.

7. Data Security

Joynit implements appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect Users' personal data against unauthorized access, loss, destruction or alteration.

The User is responsible for keeping their login credentials and password confidential and agrees not to share them with third parties.

8. Changes to the Privacy Policy

Joynit may modify this Privacy Policy. In the event of any modification, Joynit undertakes to notify Users by publishing the updated version on this page, indicating the date of last revision, and informing Users via a notification upon their next login to the Platform.

Any new version will be enforceable upon expiry of the notice period before it comes into effect, unless the User has terminated their Joynit account.
