Each month, discover the story of a Joynit user who shares their experience with the community shared calendar.

Can you introduce your club/community in a few words?
We are a cycling club. I have been the secretary since November 2021. At that time, invitations were managed by simple email. Then we used a Google calendar to manage invitations. But for it to work properly, members needed a Gmail account. While searching the web, I discovered Joynit in Sept. 2022. Today, 95% of our members have a Joynit account.

How many people do you manage? What is the profile of your members?
We are 73 members, with an average age of 58. The youngest is 20, the oldest 78 (though he isn’t on Joynit). Many are retired. Most of our members are not very comfortable with technology.

How long have you been using the Joynit calendar? Do you use only the web or also the mobile app?
I have been the admin of 2 communities since September 2022, and I use both environments. I find it easier to create events on the web.

What types of events do you post in your club’s shared calendar?
I add board meetings every month as well as invitations (general assembly, race preparations, gatherings, sports events) for the other members.

How do you use Joynit to manage your club’s activities and events?
I am the sole admin of the 2 communities. Through our website, I post events and let members know when an event is available on Joynit so they can join. The main strength is the visibility of participants for everyone and the simplicity of voting. I ask members to install the app on their phone so they can easily reply to invitations.

A big thank you to Franck for his trust and for sharing his experience!
